Q: What sort of machines/OS/network do you run

Things change often, especially hardware, so it's hard to put something in this faq that won't need correction soon. As of today (9/25/04) we've gotten rid of most of our Sparc Solaris Boxes, and now run Intel/AMD Boxes, up to 2.4 GHz, in our 2UX2.com chassis configuration. We have multiple network connections and most of our boxes are less than a couple of routers and switches away from OC-48 tier-1 trunks. Currently our infrastructure machines run OpenBSD along with our main ProShell machines. ProWeb accounts are on Gentoo Linux.
