RealChat Rooms and vServers

Q: What is the difference between the JTAN RealChat Rooms and the RealChat vServers?

"RealChat Rooms" are single-room chat rooms which allow visitors to your site to chat. Several customizations can be made, but your visitors are not allowed to change rooms. Also, each of your rooms must be separate, which means a visitor must exit RealChat and then enter it again on a different page to enter a different room.

"RealChat vServers" are RealChat Virtual Servers. Instead of access to only one room, you are allowed to setup your own rooms on your own server. The RealChat Server is the equivalent of the RealChat Enterprise Edition sold at http://www.realchat.com . You have total control over your virtual server, and you can modify it at anytime. We maintain the backend of the server for you, so you don't have to install the server software or maintain it.

RealChat Rooms come free with each ProWeb account. ProWeb users are allowed to setup as many rooms as they wish. RealChat vServers are available at a one-time fee of $350. The vServer lasts for the life of your account.
